Our cover features some Columban priests on their way back to the main square after viewing St Kevin’s Bed, a cave he used as a hermitage in Glendalough, County Wicklow, Ireland. 36 Columban priests recently made a pilgrimage from St Columban's in Dalgan Park, Ireland, to Bobbio in Northen Italy where the body of their patron, Saint Columbanus, is buried. We can only think of how they felt as they relived the steps of their patron.

OUR COVER

Our cover features the Tinago Falls in Iligan City. It shows a man standing by the falls staring at the flowing water. The falls are comparable to God’s bountiful blessings flowing endlessly. The text from Revelations 21 verse 6, ‘To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life,’ tells of God’s reassuring love. It only takes humility for us to approach Him and drink from His spring.

It is likened to the Word of God that continuously flows in the deepest recesses of our hearts, even in the most barren of souls, also waiting to be discovered, to be recognized and to be shared with others.

Our cover is a dark wooden cross with the sky as background – with which we associate heaven. Light emerges from the darkness behind the cross.

Presenting this picture to the class, ask the students what they can say about it.  What does it symbolize?  What are you reminded of?
